Dr. Grant is primarily interested in cognitive factors that lead to the development and maintenance of anxiety disorders. Recent studies have been published in Behavior Therapy, Journal of Anxiety Disorders, and Emotion. Current research focuses on the effects of anxiety- and depressive-related thought processes (i.e., worry, anticipatory processing, and rumination) on attention, memory, and executive functions among anxious individuals. He also is interested in using event-related potentials to document neural correlates of information processing biases.
Dr. Grant does not anticipate accepting a new graduate student for the 2025-2026 year.
